Born and raised in Boston, Laura Brodigan has always been passionate about design, female empowerment, and entrepreneurship.

Laura gained insight into the financial aspects of running a business while studying Finance and Marketing at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. Post college, while working in Finance, Laura’s artistic vision and creativity prompted her to enroll in evening fashion school, where she developed the skill set to design the unique jackets that she dreamed of bringing to market.

Statement jackets have always been a focal point of Laura’s wardrobe, and she was determined to create a product that would enable women to stand out and express themselves while braving the New England winters. Laura pulled from her backgrounds in finance, fashion, sports, blogging, and the networks she built along the way, to ultimately create brodenim; a recognizable online brand with a strong social media presence.

Laura is proud of what brodenim has blossomed into and hopes that her story reminds aspiring female entrepreneurs that no dream is too big when paired with an ironclad work ethic, a willingness to learn, and perseverance to see the job through.
